The doggone facts about Woofstock Fest

Who?  SPCA of Southwest Michigan

Woofstock Fest benefits and is produced by the SPCA of Southwest Michigan, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to rescuing adoptable cats and dogs from regional Animal Control Facilities, rehabilitating their bodies & souls including spay of neuter operation then re-homing them into new, forever homes.

What?  Woofstock is...

  • A quirky, fun event for dogs and the people who love them
  • A festive showcase for demonstrations of Agility and Dock Jumping
  • An Arts and Crafts show for consumers to shop, browse, and sample
  • Kalamazoo's Grooviest Pet Friendly Event for families during the day and adults at night
  • Entertainment featuring live music, stupid pet trick contests, raffles, food, drinks, and more!

Where?   Arcadia Creek Festival Site

Located in Downtown Kalamazoo, the Arcadia Festival Site hosts a variety of festivals in it's lineup and welcomes over 150,000 visitors per year. We are proud to be part of Arcadia's festival line up this year.

When?    Saturday       July 18th, 2009

SPCA Woofstock will start at 10am and go through 11:30pm. The vendor exhibits and family friendly events will be open from 10am-5pm  Make sure to visit Mascot heaven while you are there!  We will turn up the volume for our live entertainment from 6pm-11:30pm. Our food and beverage vendors will be open for the entire festival, so relax and enjoy. Feel free to stay as long as you would like...you don't have to hurry home to let the dog out!
